To set the mount and adjust the quick detach throw lever, you just loosen a set screw on the side of mount, fit the scope/mount to your rail or scope mount, then just tighten the set screw until the throw lever becomes tight when engaged in the lock position. Return to zero capability is not guaranteed but our test showed that return to zero is possible when scope is installed on a true Mil-Spec Picatinny rail system.
